Here you will find litterature that can be ordered from us. More products will be produced in 2020-2021. See also business plan / development plan.
We are licensed distributor for volumes in the VDA QMC range and have also translated eight products into Swedish, which can be ordered through our web-shop. Any volume, you find in the web-shop for VDA QMC can also be ordered from us. Most products are available from stock, but some may need delivery time.
The books translated into Swedish are:
- Swedish version of the automotive standard IATF 16949: 2016 can be ordered via the webshop, but can also be ordered via SIS Förlag AB.
- Process audit VDA 6.3 was released in December 2016 in a new version and is available for ordering . The persons participating in courses in VDA 6.3 receive the book as part of the course fee.
- Product revision VDA 6.5 released in June 2017 in a new version. The translation work is ready and the book is now available to order . The persons participating in courses in VDA 6.5 receive the book as part of the course fee.
- Additional requirements for service companies. In 2017, VDA 6.2 was released in a new version adapted to ISO 9001: 2015. The book contains additional requirements for ISO 9001: 2015 which in some cases are requirements from customers of companies that provide services. The book has been translated and approved by the VDA QMC and will be printed in January 2019.

Process Audits VDA 6.3
Since April 2016, a Swedish version of “Process audit VDA 6.3” has been developed. In December 2016, a new edition of VDA 6.3 was issued, which is basically the same method as in the 2010 version, but where a number of changes have been made regarding both the audit process and detailed requirements.Among other things, the following has changed:
- Content adapted to IATF 16949: 2016.Â
- Principle understanding (Procession, Risk Management, Communication and Target Focus) has been completely removed
- The number of questions has been reduced to 58 (from 60)
- Some relocation of questions has been made.
- The valuation of questions has been made equivalent. All issues are valued equally.
- Software management has been included in
The Swedish edition of the 2016-year version is complete after translation and is available for ordering via the webshop.
Product Audits VDA 6.5
Product audits serve as a tool for management in an independent evaluation of products from the customers’ point of view and to ensure that complaints do not arise from deficiencies in products and their properties. Product audits also indicate opportunities for continuous improvement.
In a product audit, the product’s specified properties (ie, conformity with spare parts list; product dimensions; material; functionality; reliability; packaging; ID) and expectations from customer in specified conditions (packed ie; product as new; after use; etc.) are checked.
Product audits VDA 6.5 describes the scope of use of a product audit and proposes management of an audit program. Significant audit activities are explained, together with requirements for competence for the personnel involved in the implementation of product audits.

VDA 6.2, Additional requirements for Service companies
VDA 6.2, Additional Requirements for Service Companies, is a standard developed primarily for companies that provide services to the automotive industry, such as service, calibration, product development or process development. It is based on the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015 and on the requirements of IATF 16949: 2016 and was updated in July 2017. Companies that supply products that are part of a passenger car or truck must, in accordance with the requirements of the automotive industry, meet the requirements IATF 16949: 2016 or in some cases VDA 6.1 which is equivalent to the German standard for vehicle management systems. VDA 6.2 lacks the equivalent.
Companies that provide services to customers with high demands and who want to go beyond the requirements that are found in ISO 9001: 2015 can advantageously develop their management system so that it meets the requirements of VDA 6.2. It is primarily designed with a focus on the automotive industry, but other industries may also apply these requirements. The standard is currently certifiable via certification bodies in Germany.

Below are some examples of content and additional requirements that service-providing companies can benefit from introducing, even though they are not requirements in ISO 9001, but which are included in VDA 6.2
7.2.1 Competence -Addition
All personnel working within the company or at an external workplace must receive instructions regarding new or changing processes / work routines; such instructions must be documented
7.3.1 Awareness -Addition
Awareness of quality, and in particular commitment to meeting the quality objectives and the attitude within the organization, should be promoted and continuously improved by management and employees
7.3.2 Staff satisfaction
To achieve quality goals, for continuous improvement and to create an environment that promotes innovation, the organization should establish, promote, and monitor personnel satisfaction.
10.2.1.1 Appendix
Methods for problem solving
The organization must have a defined process for solving problems.
This process will result in the identification of the cause of the error and in their elimination.
In total, this standard compares to 50 larger or smaller additional requirements compared to ISO 9001: 2015.
IATF 16949
IATF 16949 is the vehicle industry’s demand for its suppliers and is a development of the previous standard ISO / TS 16949. IATF 16949 is based on the requirements of ISO 9001 in the 2015 version, but the automotive industry (IATF; VW, BMW, Daimler-Mercedes, PSA, GM , Ford, Chrysler-Fiat, Renault) also has extended requirements for:
- Risk management ( central)
- Supplier control
- product Secure
- Products with built-in software
- Internal audits
- Requirements for supplier assessment
- Competence
IATF 16949 is available from 1st of October on English (can be ordered from among others VDA-QMC in Germany or SMMT in England ) and since 1st of January also in Swedish and can be ordered via form on our website. We are investigating the possibilities of distributing an electronic version which will hopefully be available during Q2 2017. WEDEAQ Scandinavia AB has sales and distribution rights for the Swedish version of IATF 16949: 2016 and we cooperate with SIS Förlag AB regarding distribution of this product.

MLA – Ensuring maturity of new products
Degree of maturity for new products (securing of) is a method for evaluating risks in development projects. The first edition was published in Germany in 2009 and 2018 a new version and revision of the content was made. It is now translated into Swedish and will be available for sale at the beginning of Q2.
The method is based on a traffic light system for evaluating conditions in seven parts (degrees of maturity, ML) as follows:

Securing the degree of maturity is a control method within project management that is initiated by OEM or by a customer. By applying specified rules, such as “round table” calls, where the supplier of products and the customer’s internal organization work together at an early stage of the process for product realization. Unnecessary extra work can be avoided when the elements in ensuring maturity are constantly consciously integrated at an early stage in the project management.
By applying a structured process that links the status of defined evaluation conditions to associated degree of maturity, which in turn is oriented towards milestones in an overall project plan, determined by the vehicle manufacturer, the agreed quality for the product to be delivered is ensured.
